​​Windermere Steam Boat Museum​

Competition entry for surrounding landscape and jetty for water taxi for museum.

​

The concept called for enhanced car parking and better use of water’s edge for ecology and educational uses and restoration of listed boating pond. The museum is also a key access point for the water taxi to the rest of Lake Windermere and required better landing facilities. The landscape design concept also proposed a green amphitheatre and new pedestrian and cycle routes.
